The Path

So many times in our lives we think we need to have a perfectly paved path to walk to get to where we need to be. We think if we step off the path we will not get there, but life does not always play out like we think it should. In fact, I would say it rarely does.

I am a true believer in the idea that everything happens for a reason. Times in our lives when we think that we have made catastrophic mistakes are very likely apart of the unseen plan laid out for our lives. We are made up of more than the perfect moments.

Everything that we go through and do, good or bad, is what makes our lives beautiful and perfect. We cannot predict where we will be 5, 10 or 20 years from now, so we have to trust that everything will work out.

I never imagined that I would quit my job to pursue my own business at 27, but here I am doing it after many losses and struggles along the way. I would not change a thing. So, embrace the winding road and let yourself stray from the path every once in a while. You never know what you will stumble across along the way.
