We all have goals. We have goals to lose weight. We have goals to start her own businesses. We have goals to start families. The list goes on and on.
The thing about goals, however, is that they are about the end result not the journey to get there. I, like many people, get caught up in the day today when it comes to my goals. I worry about every imperfect moment and stumbling block along the way, rather than keeping my eyes on the bigger picture and pushing past the difficult moments.
Goals are meant to drive us toward bigger and better things. While their overall purpose is good in nature, goals are not meant to hurt us or cause us to criticize ourselves along the way. With goals come challenges, because we are pushing ourselves outside our comfort zones.
It would be unrealistic to expect yourself to reach your goals without struggles. So embrace them and keep in mind that a goal is nothing more then something to work towards. Strive every day to be better than the day before and remember to love yourself no matter what.
