Miserable or Strong

“We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work we-either-make-ourselves-miserable-or-we-make-ourselves-strong-the-amount-of-w-403x403-nk3s31is the same.” – Carlos Castaneda

Sometimes I wonder if I am making things seem worse than they are by focusing on the bad. Whether you see the glass as half full or half empty, you see something. You choose your outlook.

Each day is a new chance to make a difference. We can live it fully or not, but our energy spent will be the same. When we are overthinking, we are making ourselves miserable, and when we are actively working hard and making progress, we are getting stronger.

If you are going to put forth the same amount of work, make it worthwhile.
