Sometimes you have to stand your ground. People will try to get you to do things that are out of your comfort zone sometimes. This can be good, but this can also be very bad. When it comes to your morals, skills, and abilities, it can be best to stand your ground.
Saying no is not easy for me. I hate disappointing people and want to do more than I am capable or comfortable with sometimes. However, there are times when you have to put your feelings and worry about others feelings aside and simply take care of your needs.
If you are honest and honoring yourself, no one can blame you. Standing your ground doesn’t mean you won’t push yourself or get out of your comfort zone; sometimes, it simply means you have established a line that you are unwilling to cross. Healthy boundaries are necessary, and in order to keep them, you have to stand your ground.
