This can be so hard to do. Most times, rather than accepting things, we fight them and react to them. Accepting doesn’t mean you have to agree with the situation, but it does mean you can find a way to make it work.
Accepting your current circumstances is about letting go. It is about a shift in the way you think about your situation and looking for that silver lining. Accepting is about what you do after you have been put in your current situation.
Act as is if you are in control. Act how you want the situation to be next time. Work on ways to see the good. Accepting doesn’t mean you are giving up, it merely means you are willing to move beyond it and make the most of it without hanging on to the past.
