To a man I didn’t know, thank you. Thank you for blessing me with your incredible son. 
Thank you for raising him to be strong and smart. Thank you for leading your son by example. Thank you for loving him unconditionally.
To a man I didn’t know, I am sorry. I am sorry that I did not have the pleasure of meeting you. I am sorry for not getting to say all these things to you. I am sorry this world has to go on without you in it.
To a man I didn’t know, I love you. Although I did not know you, I feel as though I do. I see what I imagine you were like in your son everyday. I love you for your sense of humor that your son brings to my life. I love you for your work ethic that he has. I love you for loving him.
To a man I didn’t know, may you never be forgotten. May your legacy and memories run far and wide within our family. May you always be in our hearts and minds. May we see you again someday.
